Pan Chalkboard Idea

Pan Chalkboard Idea

My stake put on a huge camp this weekend for the Faith in God girls (which is like girls scouts for LDS young girls ages 8-11) and it was so fantastic! This was Izzy's first time in the group, and boy did it get her excited. This craft idea was designed by Candi ( http://www.lfhvinyl.blogspot.com ). She used chalkboard paint to cover the bottom of the pans ( this she did before hand). Then had the girls glue dot the PRAY printout to the chalk board paint. She then had the girls cut out scrapbook paper to fit square flat wooden pieces and modge podge them on. She had them modge podge the front (over the paper) and then put magnet tape on the back of the wood. She went around the room and glued on the ribbon with super glue for each girl and then had them write their name on the back with permanent marker. The boards dried the rest of the time the girls were at camp and they picked them up on their way out. Isn't it sooo cute! It would work great for a Young Woman's mutual night too ( a program our church has for girls from 12 to 18).
